THC is the primary cannabinoid responsible for the psychoactive effects associated with cannabis. The amount of THC in a product can vary widely based on the method of consumption and the strain at the source of that product. The high that is produced is often enhanced by the “entourage effect” which is a combination of multiple cannabinoids in conjunction with various terpenes and individual body chemistry.
Trichome heads (hash) that have been separated from flower. The hash is then cured and it comes in many colors.
Temp recommendation: Due to the delicate nature of melt, low temp dabs are recommended (315F - 450F). That should help to avoid burning off precious terpenes, allowing you to enjoy and better taste the deliciously complex profiles the melt has to offer.
Note: This is not rosin. Rosin has had the cuticles from the trichome heads filtered out, whereas melt/hash still have their cuticles. Patients should be aware that when vaporizing melt, cleanup is different than rosin, there is expected to be remaining cuticles in the bowl, as the oil should have been vaporized.
